The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Richard O'Brien's exaltation of B-movie camp and sexual fluidity, is one of the strangest, most-addictive movies ever made. After writing the stage show, O'Brien partnered with Jim Sharman to bring his wacky world onto the big screen. Tanking when it was released, Rocky Horror Picture Show clawed its way out of a cinematic grave through midnight showings in art house theaters, and over decades evolved into a cultural phenomenon.
