We feature the work of Pruett Carter (on the cover) known for his beautiful slick magazine illustrations during the 40s and 50s, and most notoriously for shooting his wife and son before turning the gun on himself in 1955. Next up, we feature the work of Charles Lasalle, perhaps known best today for his Walter Foster instructional art books than for his beautiful magazine illustrations in the 1930s and 40s.
