We feature the work of Jessie Willcox Smith. Although she never married and had no children of her own, Smith is considered by many to be one of the greatest illustrators of children's books. Our story showcases numerous examples of her original art, printed tear sheets and covers, and rare, previously unpublished photographs. Next up we feature the work of Pruett Carter, known for his beautiful slick magazine illustrations during the 40s and 50s.
