Before the trio can continue their perilous journey to the west, they must first complete an all-important task-one way or another, Towa will get to enjoy a cushy heated bath! Then the girls are joined by Takechiyo, Riku, and Rion and head toward the town of Sakai. While facing off against the remaining members of the Four Perils, Towa and Moroha fight fiercely to protect Setsuna as she remembers the day she received her curse...

The trio keeps marching westward when they run into a slimy beast that kidnaps princesses! Coming to their aid is Tokichiro Kinoshita, a cunning peasant who will one day become a historical legend, and he devises a clever-and embarrassing-plan to lure the monster out of hiding. Then, the girls battle the demon and witness the sorts of tricks that Inuyasha himself would pull off!

Because of their part-demon heritage, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha have all temporarily turned human-on the same night that yet another assassin aims to take the girls out! In light of that, Towa wrestles with her identity as a half-demon and wonders what her life could have been if she were a normal human girl. Then, she learns the truth behind the attack that caused their parents' disappearance 14 years ago!

As they continue their journey westward, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha become ensnared in Zero's deadly trap. But Inuyasha, Kagome, and Rin finally make an appearance to protect their beloved girls! Their reunion is short-lived as the princesses must make their way toward Hizen. A terrifying sea creature blocks their path forward, and the only one capable of helping them is Shiori, a powerful half-demon who Inuyasha met years before!

Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha continue their westward journey by venturing toward Hakata, where Zero awaits them. However, a horde of undead soldiers have swamped the port of Hakata. Without hesitation, the three girls jump into the fray and carve a path to Zero's ship-where they aim to defeat her once and for all.
