Vadeboncoeur Collection Of Images Volume 06
"Special Price. Published at $20.00. This special issue features the works of just two giants of illustration: Gustaf Tenggren (63 images) and Frank Brangwyn (50 images, including a centerfold two-pager). Each artist gets a brief bio, plus there are short explanations of the works collected here. Included are Tenggren's paintings and illustrations of Grimm's fairy tales from a 1922 Swedish edition, images from the annual Bland Tomtar och Troll from 1920-23, plus some of his work from Disney's Snow White. Brangwyn's works here include many of his Venice sketches and paintings, maritime pieces, fantastic tempera work and five magnificent murals from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exhibition. Fine paintings are reproduced from 'Work,' a nearly unknown portfolio from 1914, limited to less than 100. Super fine paper and printing, originally published in 2003 in a print run of 2,000 copies."
