TOURING AFTER THE APOCALYPSE GN (2025)

With a surprisingly upbeat tone, readers of Girls' Last Tour will enjoy this trip through apocalyptic Japan. All alone after the end of days, two girls bike through the empty ruins of Japan-and they're not about to let the collapse of civilization get in the way of sightseeing! Even when the world ends, their journey goes on.

Youko and Airi's next stop is Umihotaru, a rest stop in the middle of Tokyo Bay famous for its nighttime view. But with the Aqua-line tunnel from Kawasaki flooded, they're forced to take a huge detour all the way to Chiba. On the way, they make a stop in Akihabara to investigate a mysterious radio signal. Could someone still be alive there...?

Youko gets a message from her sister, sending Airi and her off to Tsukuba, a city of research and universities. Then, after a stop to stretch their legs at Lake Kasumigaura, the two find themselves at Motegi Mobility Resort-a motorsport mecca with tons of well-preserved bikes!

Continuing their leisurely journey through the post-apocalyptic wastes, Youko and Airi stay the night in Oarai before racing up the Irohazaka slopes of Nikko and visiting the best hidden spots Saitama has to offer. And as they leave the Kanto region, the two climb the Japanese alps to the Nagano Venus Line-one of the best driving roads in Japan!

Youko and Airi are riding through Gunma Prefecture when Youko collapses from inhaling Mount Asama's volcanic gases! Luckily, a mysterious lone boy appears just in time to rescue the pair. He takes them to the nearby Kusatsu hot spring resort for some much-needed rest and recuperation-but as the girls' relationship with him grows, getting back on the road becomes ever more complicated...

Youko and Airi take a break from traveling to think back on the start of their journey. What led to them leaving the shelter in the first place? And continuing northeast, they have a blast digging for fossils in Iwaki and fishing in Lake Inawashiro before setting their sights on Nagaoka, in the heart of Niigata…
