The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox (2021)

It’s story time! The G.C.P.D. discover a mysterious corpse, a magical box, and a murderer’s row of the city’s most dangerous villains sitting in a jail cell. Now all they need to figure out is what exactly happened. Fortunately, one suspect is willing to talk. Unfortunately, it’s The Joker. Now, superstar writer Matthew Rosenberg, magnificent artist Jesus Merino, and a multitude of rising-star artists invite you to spend a night in the Gotham Central interrogation room for a dozen tales of murder, mayhem, and mystery as told by the Clown Prince of Crime himself. The mystery grows! With The Joker still in police custody for a murder he didn’t commit, it’s the perfect time for him to continue his tales of the twisted treasure hunt with Black Mask’s sojourn to the Siberian Sea and Harley Quinn bringing her over-the-top adventure underground.

The puzzle gets more complicated…and deadly! The Joker continues story time with two more terrifying tales of this twisted treasure hunt. First, Black Mask is out for revenge, but when he crosses paths with one of the world’s greatest assassins, things don't go as planned. Then, Killer Moth must team-up with Man-Bat if he hopes to survive the riddle of Master Engine.

The Riddler’s death has left more questions! But the Joker isn’t giving the police the answers they need. Instead he shares two more tales of the twisted treasure hunt for pieces of the puzzlebox. First, the Penguin enters a test of might and wits against Bane. Then, the Scarecrow must go toe-to-toe with Professor Pyg to find out what he’s really afraid of.

It's all coming together! With the Riddler's treasure hunt complete, the villains must gather to assemble the mysterious box. But putting that many criminals in a room is a dangerous thing...Unless that was the plan all along. And finally, the Gotham Police will hear Two-Face, Harley Quinn, the Penguin, and the Mad Hatter's side of the story. But they all end with the same thing—Batman!

It’s all falling apart! The Joker’s stories have all led to this moment, which also happens to be the beginning of our story. But a different perspective on this mysterious murder reveals some new suspects: Clayface, Mr. Freeze, and…Batman? Commissioner Gordon is going to get the answers he needs.
