MINISERIES PREMIERE W. MAXWELL PRINCE (ICE CREAM MAN, HAHA) continues his weird, winning one-shot formula with this all-new multi-artist project that explores the way things END...and also how they never really do.   SWAN SONGS comprises stories about endings...The End of the World. The End of a Marriage. The End of a Sentence. The End of the End of the World!  (Which I suppose one might consider the BEGINNING of a new world...) And along for the terminal ride are some of comics' best and brightest artists! The first apocalyptic issue, "The End of the World," is drawn by none other than THE DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH's MARTIN SIMMONDS.  Future artists for future endings include CASPAR WIJNGAARD (HOME SICK PILOTS), and FILIPE ANDRADE (The Many Deaths of Leila Star), with more to be announced. All things come to a close; these are the SWAN SONGS.

Here, two former lovers find themselves-per a stipulation of their divorce settlement-locked in eternal mortal combat! "THE END OF THE END OF THE WORLD" W. MAXWELL PRINCE's traversal into the totally terminal trudges forward with all-star artist FILIPE ANDRADE (The Many Deaths of Laila Starr)! The atomic clock hit zero, and the world was forever changed. Here, our demolished planet's would-be Adam and Eve try to create a new Eden in the nuclear aftermath†but some things simply weren't meant to be. "THE END OF A SENTENCE" A man obsessed with ""Sad Libs"" gets out of prison, only to find himself totally lost in a world of crime and fill-in vocabulary. W. MAXWELL PRINCE's obsession with cessation continues, featuring this issue's superstar artist: CAITLIN YARSKY (Black Hammer)! The end is the beginning is the end; these are the SWAN SONGS."

"THE END OF ANHEDONIA" Via therapeutic hypnosis, a man travels through his subconscious to try to find his inner child-and a way to be happy again. A comic that doesn't look like any other comic ever made, this issue is done in full collage art by the spectacular ALEX ECKMAN-LAWN-a veritable dream in four colors. The end is almost here; this is just one of many SWAN SONGS.
