Angel and Jessamy catch a murder case when an Anti-Vamper is found drained in their home. Jessamy forces Angel to canvas the neighbors, leading to an encounter with an old friend. But it's the discovery of a nest in Detroit that gives Angel the chance to do exactly what she wants - crack some skulls!

Angel gets some new tech, but even better - a break! There's a new lead in her quest to track down Ashwyn and his goon squad, but will it pan out? As another murder, that appears to be connected to the case they're already working, lands at Angel and Jessamy's feet, Barnard summons Angel to his night club for a much needed night out.

Angel's big night out with Barnard has left a permanent reminder. A witness in the Anti-Vamper murder case leads her and Jessamy down a path to solving the case, but all is not as it seems. Just as one case wraps up, Angel finds a big break in her quest to track down Ashwyn and his cronies.
