Traumatized but angry, the girl explains that when she was taken, she was carrying a gift for her mother. In the chaos of her escape, it was left behind. Now, Vee wants it back. She's come to ask Lexi and Nico for help, for they are all in way over their heads.

Fresh off the discovery of Violet “Vee” Williams’ lifeless body in an abandoned warehouse in Detroit’s industrial district, Lexi and Nico Miller learn the details of Vee’s abduction and brutal murder. Still reeling from these revelations, they come face-to-face with the monster who killed her. What happens next is anybody’s guess as the siblings flee for their lives!
