As a living doll working for the secretive Shadows family in a mansion that receives no callers, Emilico's primary objective in life is to serve as Miss Kate's face to the best of her abilities. What exactly this means is still shrouded in mystery, but Emilico will give it her all to find out! But can Emilico figure it out before the debut, or are the pair doomed to fail...?  

Within a mysterious mansion, enigmatic nobles known as the Shadows employ living dolls to act as their "faces." Kate and Emilico are one such intended pair, but before Emilico can claim the title of Kate's face, they must first pass their debut. With the web of lies and deceit masking the Phantom Incident unraveled, another soot-stained, sorrowful truth about the house has been revealed. Doubt about the adults' crooked intentions swell, and tension between the children's wing and the rest of the house is at an all time high...?

The inspection of the children's wing begins. On the surface, the Star-bearers are hoping it ends quickly without incident. After successfully pulling off the coffee switch, Kate and Emilico's plan to break the brainwashing on the other living dolls is well under way! But with spies everywhere and confusion arising among the brainwashed dolls, one misstep could lead to disaster... Still, the pair will need as many friends as she can get, so she calls for another midnight peer reunion...
