ROBOT TOD (2024)

Robot Tod follows the adventures of the titular hero Tod, who is trying to regain memories and avoid capture by malicious wizards. This first issue introduces his companions: The kindly and shy Sept, her vitriolic and selectively invisible alter ego Ember, the inventive mouse person Furn Fells, and Gwyelder the enigmatic fox guide. This new and lushly watercolored, ongoing series is set in the same post-apocalyptic, psychedelic, magical world of The Wrenchies and It Will All Hurt.

Action-packed second issue opens with a bang when the anthropomorphic and industrious Furn Fells meets Tod and Sept, and goes on the run from creepy agents of West Wizard. This ongoing series rendered in full watercolor from award winning creator Farel Dalrymple is set in the same post-apocalyptic, somewhat psychedelic, magical world of the NY Times bestselling The Wrenchies and It Will All Hurt.

Tod is injured and on his back but with a little help from his surroundings soon recovers, then sets off to free Sept from her crystal prison.  Beset by agents of West and guided by Gwyelder, Tod stoically navigates apocalyptic wastelands, wizard machinations, random memories, and giant spider monsters, all while trying to protect his new friends and reconnect with Furn Fells.

TOD and SEPT arrive Brainagain City to meet up with their new friend FURN FELLS. The trio experience some pressure from young locals, and then must fight a bigger and tougher gang who are being negatively influenced by an agent of the WEST WIZARD, THE SPECIALIST. This story is set in the same weird future fantasy world as the New York Times best selling and Eisner award nominated graphic novel THE WRENCHIES and is entirely written, inked, lettered, and fully watercolored on real paper by Society of Illustrators gold medal winner Farel Dalrymple with a beautifully painted pin up by Soph Franz.
