QUICKSAND (2023)

After a mysterious hole opens in the Egyptian desert, horrific creatures climb out and wreak havoc on a nearby city. They retreat as quickly as they arrived, leaving the planet in shock by this unfathomable event. A team of elite specialists from around the globe called "Canary One" are sent after the monsters to discover more about them. But when the crew never returns, the world must prepare for the possibility of another wave of attacks.

A little over a year has passed since monsters crawled out of the sands near the Egyptian pyramids. Now the nearby military base echoes with sound of alarms as the creatures return to the surface once again. Stephanie Noon, wife of lost Canary One crew leader, is on the ground and ready to take action. But this time the monsters have brought something unexpected with them.

Immediately following the second wave of attacks from the underground monsters, Stephanie receives an order to begin preparing for another mission below the surface of the Earth. Before she starts assembling her team, she questions one of the original crew members of Canary One who was returned by the creatures. What he recounts of his time in the subterranean land is nothing short of warning to never go back down there!

Somewhere deep underground, Stephanie's team suddenly becomes face-to-face with the monsters that have attacked multiple times on the Earth's surface. But now her team is in their territory and extremely outnumbered. As the crew barely keep themselves from being torn apart by the creatures, it seems as if they are being led further into the unknown abyss. And for those who survive the journey, a shocking surprise will be waiting for them at the end.

Trapped somewhere deep below the Earth's surface, the remaining members of Canary Two find what happened to the previous team. However, that is not the only mystery revealed. Now they must escape to warn the rest of the world before they meet the same fate as Canary One!
