OBE OUT OF BODY EXPERIENCE (2021)

In a dystopian near-future, nearly everybody can astral project, or OBE (Out-of-Body Experience), which has caused worldwide decimation.  As civilization struggles to combat the addiction to OBEing, a haunted detective must work with a lonely social worker to catch an elusive killer who has learned how to hunt from the astral plane.  This fantastical, philosophical, action-packed detective story explores how humanity faces extinction and yet refuses to bow down, while simultaneously evolving to thrive in a new society based between this world and the next.

Issue #2 races frantically into the thrilling neo-noir sci-fi comic book event that is O.B.E.!  As tensions and mysterious murders escalate, Cole and Amari visit the enigmatic Club Industria looking for clues.  There, Cole learns that in order to get the answers he seeks, he'll have to go to the one place he loathes and fears... the Astral Plane itself.  Will this dark path lead to the killer, or only yield more questions and suppressed anguish

As the truth begins to unravel, Cole and Amari learn more about the origins of the beating heart cadavers, victims physically alive, but otherwise dead. Seeking answers, Cole visits the Missions for an unsettling conversation with Mother Lucia.  With echoes of his past haunting him, Cole is ready to confront the killer, only to discover the danger is far more complex than he ever believed-and Amari's life is now at stake.

In a race against a brutal power they've only begun to discover, Cole and Amari must survive long enough to unravel the truth. But when Cole finally meets the killer, he discovers that his entire reality is based on a lie, and the astral plane is strong enough to destroy him.  Dimensions collide terrifyingly in this epic conclusion that might leave YOU feeling you've had an OBE!
