But when this bedtime story goes from dream job to nightmare mutiny, Miranda and Noodles find the pirate's life is not for them.

After being rescued from the Meg-Amalgam, Miranda gets a job with the Inter-Dimensional Emergency Association, aka IDEA. Eager to help other victims of the Multiverse Maelstrom, Miranda lets her ambitions get the better of her and ends up demoted to a desk job. Alone and bored with restricted access to her dog Noodles, Miranda makes a play to get herself noticed. But is IDEA really the altruistic agency they claim to be, or do they have other plans for the refugees they're collecting?

In a foolish attempt to get promoted at IDEA, Miranda fell through a dimensional portal and finds herself alone in a seemingly abandoned city. But when she feels eyes on her, Miranda discovers that this hostile world is populated by inanimate objects bent on killing off all organic life. Will a group of resistance fighters help her get back to IDEA and Noodles, or will they use her for their own nefarious schemes?

With the help the Inanimates, Miranda was able to travel through the storm and back to IDEA. On a mission to be reunited with Noodles and save the Inanimate's leader, Miranda must sneak her way through the inner corridors of IDEA where she'll discover the horrifying truth about the organization. Can she survive on her own? Who is the vigilante known as Web-Wing? Will Miranda find Noodles and begin their adventures, or is she destined be alone in infinity?
