And on top of that, Hana and their new friend Yuria-chan are trouble magnets-so it's up to Miko to protect them as best she can...

Well, Miko doesn't have a cat in hell's chance of avoiding the consequences now. But three lives instead of nine?! And who exactly were those freaky shrine maidens anyways...wait, more importantly, what happens now? Time for a field trip back to the shrine to find out! At least it was for a good cause...

After finding a kindred spirit in the Godmother, Miko's made just a tiny bit of progress in figuring out what the heck is going on with her eyesight. But a bunch of mysteries still remain-like who those freaky shrine maidens are and who that shady dude in the top hat is...As if that weren't enough, Hana's come down with a sickness that (may) have been caused by ghost possession!

Although Miko's been trying her hardest to ignore all the creepy ghost things around her, now that Hana may be involved, she can't pretend anymore. So with the help of the Godmother and the weird guy in a top hat, she sets off. They have one job-solve the mystery of the creepy shrine maidens before time runs out...

They went to the shrine. They confronted the creepy shrine maidens...but then everything that could go wrong did. Turns out, Mitsue's teacher is one of the shrine maidens! And so, in a desperate struggle, master and apprentice face off-with the fates of Miko and Rom hanging in the balance!

She's trying. She's really trying. But every time she looks at her new classmate, all she can see are tentacles...But maybe it's like that thing with Mr. Zen and she's only being haunted by a creepy spirit. She's not actually evil...is she?

What do you get when you combine modeling, sisterly love, and the real world? Distorted emotions and warped relationships. Michiru's older sister and her manager gives off this reaaaal intense vibe that's honestly kinda suffocating. Like honestly, Miko could do without Michiru's big sis getting all helicopter parent on her. Maybe their bond has something to do with the tentacle-thing blanketing Michiru...

Miko still can't get the hang of it. After all, every time she looks Michiru's way, she can't quite see around the tentacles. But Michiru seems...nice? And the tentacle things are protecting Miko from some of the ghastly ghouls hanging around! Still, the tentacles seem more and more hostile toward Hana as time marches on, which only deepens Miko's alarm...

Winter break is finally here! Miko and her friends set out to attend a special festival for one of her favorite toy characters, but on the way there and at the venue, they just keep getting accosted by monsters…
