Jonah Hex and the Shadow of Death (2026)

MASTER OF HORROR MICHAEL WALSH TAKES JONAH HEX TO THE NEXT LEVEL! Welcome to the end of the Wild West. Welcome to the quiet life of a broken-down bounty hunter whose own story, one of bloodshed, pain, and guilt, ended long ago--or so he thought. In a small town called Ashecott, something evil has arrived. Something more dangerous than a gunslinger, more sinister than an outlaw, and older than the town it seeks to infect. Something from a world beyond the only one its victims have ever known. Something darker. Unfortunately for that evil, Jonah Hex has taken notice. Not just of the otherworldly entities surrounding his home or the child with mysterious abilities they seek to capture--but also of the chance to finally redeem himself. Join master of horror Michael Walsh (Exquisite Corpses) as he begins a terrifying new era of DC's most infamous bounty hunter!

SUPERSTAR MICHAEL WALSH DIVES INTO THE DARK WORLD OF JONAH HEX! In Ashecott, tales of Jonah Hex's gunslinging past are known by few and believed by even fewer--save for Charlie, a young stable hand who admires the once-mighty bounty hunter. No stories at all are known about the mysterious preacher who has ridden into town, nor any tales of the strange followers he's amassing by the minute, and least of all their connection to the young girl who's vanished into the night. Hex, however, is about to join their story--and in doing so, add a final chapter to his legend.

THERE IS POWER IN THE SONGS THEY SING THROUGH TIME. A brush with death throws everything Jonah knows into disarray. Now understanding the depth of the dark power possessed by the beings taking over Ashecott, he rides to rescue Annie, the girl they've taken prisoner, and finds himself in a battle unlike any he'd ever imagined.

THE CAVALRY RIDES TO ASHECOTT! Annie, the child taken prisoner by Speaker Jericho, begins to reveal the nature of her true power. Meanwhile, Jonah Hex and a small group of companions rally to stop Jericho's plans from coming to fruition but find that they may be far too late. Blood is spilling in Ashecott, and if Jonah wants to stop it, he's going to have to do so with his finger on a trigger.
