Riders from around the world gather in the Wild West for the race of the century! Johnny Joestar, a former jockey paralyzed from the waist down, comes to spectate, and momentarily regains the ability to walk while watching a duel fought by Gyro Zeppeli. Desperate to learn more about this power, Johnny joins the race alongside Gyro and embarks on the most epic and bizarre race to ever cross the American frontier!

Gyro leads the race at the end of the first stage-but it's too soon to celebrate just yet. Three competitors have turned up dead, and the famous cowboy Mountain Tim has just been deputized to find the culprits. Following the trail of horseshoe tracks, he sets his sights on Johnny and Gyro. But as the three men collide in the hostile Arizona desert, it quickly becomes clear that the second stage of this race may just be their last!

Gyro and Johnny are heading up the front of the pack in the Steel Ball Run race! But just as they're about to reach the finish line, they're attacked yet again. And to make matters worse, when Gyro and Johnny finally uncover the reason behind these constant attacks, they start to realize that the true purpose of the Steel Ball Run is much more sinister than either of them could have ever imagined.

The hunt for the Holy Corpse is on! Gyro and Johnny have managed to get ahold of the second body part, the eyeballs, but can they keep Dio from getting his claws on them? And with a new enemy closing in on them, there's no telling who will be the last to get the corpse! For older teen audiences
