In a world where the Demon King has died, a host of demigods capable of felling him have inherited the world. Tremendous destruction has been wrought by the central players in the New Demon King War, but there are still those with the power to transform the era. Among them is a golem who revives endlessly, conquering its cause of death each time; a giant whose far-reaching arrows level the terrain itself; an entity which reduces everything it touches to dust... When these forces of nature come into contact with those who would use their power for their own ends, it all begins again. The battle between the 16 shura finally begins. Taking advantage of the particle storm, the Old Kingdom's Loyalists stage an uprising and the New Principality of Lithia lights a match under the war of the New Demon King - the True Demon King, which threatens all life. It's all over. After an age of terror, the world will undergo massive change. To obtain the title of True Hero and represent the new era, the shura gather in Aureatia, the largest city in the world.

After the appallingly destructive second competition ends, the third competition to determine the true hero amongst the sixteen Shura begins. This time, it's Soujiro versus Ozonezuma. But how will the enigmatic chimera Ozonezuma counter a master swordsman like Soujiro, who can figure out how to kill his enemies with a single glance and bring even legends to their knees?

Psianop the Inexhaustible Stagnation vs Lucnoca the Winter.  Aureatia took serious damage thanks to Alus the Star Runner. To take advantage of this and reclaim authority someone once banished by the Twenty-Nine Officials starts to make their move. As plotting goes on behind the scenes, the Sixways Exhibition moves forward.

The warriors prepare to face off against Alus, who has become Aureatia's greatest enemy. Following his defeat against Lucnoca, Alus has been transformed into a half-machine and begins the attack on Aureatia, with his eye on plunder! Only magical weapons have any hope of harming his new body. The city goes up in flames, bodies litter the ground, and a river of blood flows. All are strong, all are heroic, but only one can claim the mantle of True Hero

The city quivers in the wake of the destruction wrought by Alus. Taking advantage of the chaos in a bid to reclaim power, Iriolde-the ringleader once exiled by the 29-begins to move. With plots and schemes tangling together, the Sixways Eshibition is thrown into the second great battle. Lucnoca smiles in anticipation of another worthy opponent. Then, the "certain death" that the Psianop kept concealed is revealed to be-!?

With Rosclay the Absolute dead, momentum greatly shifts toward Hiroto the Paradox, while Kia and Tu are identified as enemies of Aureatia. As the threat grows in magnitude, the only way to counter it seems to be...with another threat

The operation to subjugate the 'World Word,' which has gone haywire following news of Elea's death, begins. Kia, Kuze, Mestelexil, Tu, Uhak. The fates of these five individuals intersect in unexpected ways on a high-speed train. Kuze is planning on assassinating the queen, but Mestelexil and his revival ability stand in his way. Who will claim victory in this terribly incompatible matchup?
