Here's the thing about Gert... she's never wrong, okay? Especially when it comes to Gertlins. I'm sure she has a perfectly good explanation for why she would allow an invasion of these tiny Gert gremlin monsters to take over all of Fairyland. Right? Right?! Cough...

End of Story Arc. It's the rise of Gertzilla! As Gert and Larry reach the end of Fairyland, the little baby Gertlins from a year ago are now decidedly not little and are in fact huge, slobbering, Gert-eating monsters. With a little help from Virgil, the team pulls together one final weapon to kill 'em all...

New Story Arc. "Happy End Game," Part One of Five. Gert saved Fairyland from a monster infestation and is being celebrated by one and all. Okay, well... maybe not all. Deep below the Inferno, in the bowels of Hell, an old rival is gathering an army of the dead to put an end to Gert. No one in Fairyland will be safe. A new arc of the hit blood-filled fairytale series starts here!

"Happy End Game," Part Two of Five. Happy leads the army of dead Gerts from Hell, through the Inferno and into Fairyland. Gert needs allies, so the King summons a legend from Kansas who's pretty familiar with fighting off WICKED forces! Who could it be? Maybe someone who's into glittery footwear? Yellow Bricks? Any guesses?

"Happy End Game," Part Three of Five. Gert tries to recruit a Once Upon A Timer to help fight the coming war... and it's Dorothy Gale, the famous hero from The Land of OZ! Meanwhile, Happy is gaining more and more ground as she conquers her way across Fairyland, eventually gaining the power of 10 Gerts... literally!

"Happy End Game," Part Four of Five. War is upon Gert and the Fairyland forces-and they are outnumbered! I mean, come on, they're facing an army of Fairylanders that Gert has killed, led by her oldest nemesis. That's A Big Number, and one evil Happy! Back in Kansas, Dorothy Gale is questioning her choice to stay out of the fight. The battle is on!

End of Story Arc! Will Gert and her soldiers fall? Will Dorothy Gale and the Once Upon a Timers make it in time to stop Happy and her horde? Fairyland goes grimdark with the arrival of HELLICORN, your favorite new demonic antihero! In search of his stolen, sawed-off horn, Hellicorn will stop at nothing to retrieve it, unearthing the macabre underbelly of gothic children's stories in the process. A bold new direction for this new (old) era of I HATE FAIRYLAND!

War in Fairyland is hell...with a cherry bomb on top. The brand-new (old) era of I HATE FAIRYLAND continues as SKOTTIE YOUNG, DEREK LAUFMAN, and co. bring Gert & Larry to the front lines of the latest conflict ravaging the candy countryside. There will be sprinkles.

Years ago, Gert laid waste to the entire land of the Shroomurai...except for one. A daughter of the fallen survived and has vowed to find the Green-Haired Horror and end her life. SKOTTIE YOUNG, DEREK LAUFMAN, and co. continue the new (old) era of I HATE FAIRYLAND with some delicious samurai action!

POPEYE SAILS INTO FAIRYLAND! As Gert and Larry sail the oceans blue in search of a dastardly sea beast that may hold the key to Gert returning home, they find themselves outmatched and in need of help... from none other than Popeye the Sailor Man! This very special issue not only features a guest star, but a guest artist as well, as cartoonist supreme Jay Fosgitt (Marvel Fairy Tales, Bodie Troll) joins Skottie and crew on the poop deck of the good ship IHF!

The march to Issue #50 continues with the return of series artist Derek Laufman, as Skottie and the team unveil their latest horrific Fairyland creation: GERTRUDENSTEIN'S MONSTER! Say, that character looks kinda familiar... who approved this??
