Having gained immortality from dragon's blood, he spends each lonely day as a "salvager" transporting artwork out of the uninhabited ruins of Tokyo...until one day, a pair of twin art dealers request that he salvage a particularly powerful and mysterious item.

Bound by his contract with Galerie Berith to hunt dragons, Yahiro heads to the Fortress City of Yokohama, which is under the control of the Guild-a neutral organization that acts as an intermediary between private military companies. There, he finds the swamp dragon medium Nina Himekawa and her Lazarus, Hisaki Minato, waiting for him. Then, Waon Iroha is invited to collab with a streamer backed by a European enterprise named Gibeah. Although she is initially overjoyed at this news, things quickly become complicated when she realizes the corporation is connected to the Japanese Council for Independence, who mean to take their country back...by any means necessary.

Iroha's channel surpasses a million views overnight when a sleuth streamer called Yamadou exposes her as a dragon medium on his channel! Now it's like the whole world is out to get her! Before Yahiro and the Galerie can do anything to retaliate, the Guild detains Yahiro...as a suspect for serial murders?! With Yahiro out of the way, a foe with an old grudge launches an attack on the Galerie's Japanese branch. Iroha and her siblings are more vulnerable than ever!

Yahiro and the others journey to Kyoto aboard Galerie Berith's armored train. There, they hope to discover the truth about Japanese people having transformed into moujuu. The train screeches to a halt when soldiers stationed at Nagoya demand a toll-the Regalia: a crimson gem that is...fusing with Ayaho?! There's no way Yahiro or Iroha will hand her over, but how will they keep everyone else safe and escape a barrage of attacks from soldiers and moujuu?

Yahiro and Iroha finally arrive in Kyoto, only to find the head of Galerie Berith waiting for them. The man has conspired to take the Relict Regalia from Karura Myoujiin, and prepares to invade the Imperial compound. To rescue Karura, Yahiro and Iroha infiltrate the compound, and in the process come to know the truth about the dragon mediums and the reality of their world. At the same time, Sui Narusawa finally opens her eyes.

Three years after the ploutonion closed, the world that narrowly escaped destruction has steadily rebuilt itself. Though they saved everyone, Yahiro and Iroha's whereabouts are unknown. One day, peace is disrupted when Gallery Berith receives information that moujuu have reappeared. Meanwhile, on an unnamed island in the south, Yahiro and Iroha have been kicking back and taking it easy. A mysterious girl washes up on their island, and Iroha has her guard up-the girl seems to know quite a bit about Yahrio and the reality of their world. Not to mention the girl is being targeted by monsters. Not the moujuu, but a new creature entirely.
