HAPPY OF THE END GN (2025)

Dazed and confused, Chihiro awakes on a pile of garbage with memories of a wedding still fresh in his mind, when out of the blue a young man named Keito appears before him. Instantly,  he then recalls the night he spent with this person. The booze! The hotel! The punch to his face! Chihiro may not have a place to call home currently and Keito may not be a good person by any means, but maybe the two of them could be happy together.

After constant moving, Chihiro and Haoran may have settled down, which means a house-warming party. This sudden sense of "normalcy" is a little strange for the two of them as their lives are far from it. Whether it's the scars all over Haoran's body or the violent people in their past, finding moments of peace is their only solace in life today.

Maya threatens the peace that Haoran and Chihiro have together forcing the two lovers repeatedly move. Nevertheless, Maya finally catches Chihiro and abducts him. So when Maya feels uncomfortable with the way Chihiro talks to him, he beats Chihiro until he loses consciousness. Chihiro escapes from Maya's rampage and wakes up in the hospital. After being discharged, the pair once again spend their time together, however, when Haoran notices Chihiro's sudden fear of being touched, he is tormented by feelings of guilt and resentment, and begins to blame himself. Haoran comes to realize that his small but happy life has begun to break down and makes a decision.
