FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND RETRO (2020)

"In a tip of the hat to our grand old name, Famous Monsters presents the first of the missing issues. FM Retro 70, written in the style of the original Famous Monsters of Filmland, offers features on Count Yorga, Vampire; Hercules in New York; Bride of Frankenstein; and more. The Retro Cover is by Jeff Preston and of course we have Forrest J Ackerman as our Honorary Editor-in-Chief. Collectors will flock to the stores for this issue!"

"Continuing with the 'lost' issues of Famous Monsters of Filmland, issue #71 will bring more of the classic style that made FM the iconic magazine it has become. This issue will feature an original Frankenstein vs. The Wolfman cover by artist Joe Jusko, with accompanying film book. Classic staples like The Graveyard Examiner, Professor Gruebeard, Mystery Photo, and 'You Axed for It' will all be included, along with some of the best horror of the late 60s!"

"It's time to take a trip back to the age of flying DeLoreans, actual music on MTV, Flock of Seagulls' haircuts, and acid-washed jeans: The '80s! Continuing our tradition of bringing you the 'missing' issues of Famous Monsters - it's time for issue #192! Featuring the original cover by Bill Selby and all the best in horror, Sci-Fi, and fantasy from 1983. Forry returns after his absence from #191 to reclaim his place in the magazine while bringing all new, spooktacular kong-tent!"
