SERIES PREMIERE An eons-long series of multiverse wars between demons and witches has found Earth as its latest and final battleground. The battle pits NECRONEMA, the ever-expanding demonic land that supplanted the Midwest twenty years ago, against EDENWOOD, the witchcraft-controlled land that acts as a barrier against the war zone and the rest of the U.S.RION, a young DEMON HUNTER, is thrust into the role of hero and leader after defeating a magical demon called a GATHER, a transient demon with the power to cross any barrier or dimension. Summoned by the WITCH WAR COUNCIL, Rion must assemble an elite team of DEMON HUNTERS tasked with annihilating a list of targets within the demon-controlled lands. The men and women he selects happen to be the most famous and revered demon hunters of all time, dating back to the 1700s.

Rion finds himself deep inside Edenwood and immediately on the run from the demon military, which consists of armored tank divisions and patrolling beasts with razor-sharp teeth. Rion sees the beauty and the horrors of this magical place before meeting powerful allies who question how he acquired the armor of one of the greatest demon killers in history.

Rion is put to the test in an environment surrounded by fear and deception. An old friend returns bearing gifts and a mission that could change the course of the war. Entering Edenwood and rescuing his friends from their dark paths is a non-negotiable before he accepts the suicidal mission from the Witch War Council.  

Flashbacks reveal that young Rion and his Demon Killer mentor, Bastille, are closing in on the Black Lake Trio, who Bastille has been hunting throughout the Edenwood. Current-day Rion and his new allies discover a gang of demons who are responsible for the purge of the last surviving Demon Killers. Rion must decide to stay and fight demons in the Open Lands or return to Edenwood, where he faces almost certain death at the hands of the Demon Kings and their army. A TRAITOR is discovered within the Witch War Council.

END OF STORY ARC Rion and the surviving cadets from the Demon Killer University are taught valuable life lessons about survival, trust and honor by rogue demon killer, Greyhound. With their plans drawn to enter Edenwood and search for the "Legends," first they must infiltrate the demon-occupied Fortress South and take back Rion's book of maps. Rion's foe, Evaniel, is waiting for a fight to the death. But will he have help defeating Rion from an unlikely ally? The stunning conclusion of Edenwood's first big arc happens here!
