Draculina's secret origin begins in an ancient tower more than four centuries ago where her mother Lilith, desperate to free her people from ruthless oppressors, made a deal with the demon Belial to bear his children. Now, as Katie-Draculina's human alter-ego-lays dying, the mystery of Draculina's two lives is revealed as two sides of the same woman struggle for control. Meanwhile Belial, now retired from the demon business, has been alerted to Draculina's presence in this prime reality, and seeks to regain control over his rebellious stepchild.

"Immortal Beloved" Having been tipped off to Draculina's arrival in our plane of existence, the demon Belial-who stole Draculina from Vampirella's and her mother Lilith when Draculina was small-sets out to reclaim his lost child, taking in the preteen Katie, Draculina's snotty alter ego, for the strangest father's day in history. Meanwhile Draculina continues assembling pieces of the Daemon Periapt, an ancient talisman capable of killing Belial, while she struggles to break the demonic bond linking her to the child Katie.

When the demon Belial tips off the jilted lover of their arranged marriage, Draculina finds herself hunted by the interdimensional "Reality Merchant" Hesiod, who punishes Draculina by altering reality to reverse the fortunes of Draculina and her young alt-self Katie, granting the power (and wings!) of the Vampiri to the preteen while leaving Draculina confronted by an unwanted and fragile humanity, and at the mercy of her enemies!

An enigmatic faerie named after an ancient Greek poet has twisted the multiverse, exchanging the fates of Draculina and her alternate reality "self" Katie, and forcing Draculina to experience a vulnerable humanity, with all its emotional consequences, for the first time in her long, immortal life. Meanwhile, Katie has gained everything she has ever wished for - like all the powers of a full vampiri, including the bloodlust! But the reality of having supernatural power quickly crushes her childhood fantasy as, ravenous for blood, Katie's innocence hangs in the balance!

In an effort to teach Draculina a lesson, Hesiod, an interdimensional "reality merchant," has scrambled multiple realities, resulting in a now-human (and powerless) Draculina being stalked by an evil, bloodthirsty Dark Vampirella (or "Vampirella Dark"?). Plus, having failed in her attempt to destroy the demon Belial, Lilith of Drakulon is given an impossible choice: to choose which version of the daughter she has searched for over several lifetimes will live and which will die?
