Relocated from New Orleans to Latveria, the best magic school in the world just got better (according to some). It's the start of the second year for Strange Academy students, and you know that things will not go as planned!

As if the world with Dr. Doom at the wheel isn't crazy enough, Zoe finds herself sucked into a fairy-tale book. But not a modern, NICE fairy tale book - the old kind where the kids die and scare you, but in this case, Zoe's the kid about to die. Meanwhile, her friends and frenemies are looking for Zoe, but they find something even more troubling than their missing friend as Latveria's secrets start to reveal themselves.

Zoe fights the monsters of your childhood nightmares - which, c'mon, you have to admit, that's pretty cool. Meanwhile, her friends are forced to ask - why do the good rescue plans always involve asking people you really don't like for help?!

Zoe's friends have successfully rescued her from the scary fairy tale book but - wait, what do you MEAN she needs to go back?! What new horror did she discover in the Latverian fairy tale land, and what does it have to do with DOCTOR DOOM?! And what makes this Greta girl so important?
