DISILLUSIONED ADVENTURERS SAVE THE WORLD GN (2025)

Veteran adventurer Nick's life is falling apart. Despite all the knowledge and expertise he's devoted to his adventuring party, his respected leader kicked him out, his girlfriend dumped him, and his teammates shamelessly accused him of embezzlement. Tired, heartbroken, and looking for a drink, Nick chances upon a few kindred spirits who are jaded as he is. Together, these disillusioned adventurers form an unstoppable team out to save their bleak, depressing world!

A former noblewoman, an excommunicated priest, and a female dragonian warrior have joined Nick in creating the adventuring party, the Survivors. Teamwork doesn't come easily to these kindred spirits disillusioned with the world, but they manage to earn a name for themselves. Now, they are tasked to explore the Labyrinth of Bonds for treasure-specifically, for the Sword of Bonds. Will these jaded souls be able to succeed where other adventurers have failed?

A band of reject adventurers who were all kicked out of their original parties (and have now been deemed a practically ideal team by the adventurers guild for some reason) sets out for a labyrinth to find an ancient artifact called the Sword of Bonds. The gang breezes through the newbie-friendly labyrinth with hardly a scratch-when suddenly a mysterious passageway not shown on the map appears before them...

Four jaded adventurers and now a sentient, transforming sword? Bond the magic sword was abandoned by the ancient civilization that built them after they were no longer useful, so he's a perfect fit for the party! The gang's getting bigger and stronger, so a little relaxation can't hurt...but who's that familiar face at the other table? Nick's conniving ex-girlfriend...!?  

Nick's duel with Leon comes to a head! Can a wiry adventurer who was once kicked out of his party outbox a tiger man? Can a na ve country bumpkin dragon girl do better on a math test than the cunning swindler Claudine? And are a fallen noble mage and a debauched priest any use at all, or are they just there to throw in the towel when their friends lose? Hopeless apart, these adventurers might just have a chance together...!

Tiana and Nick's visit to the casino was only meant to be a way to blow off some steam, but when Tiana runs into a certain wealthy young lady getting taken for a ride by her loser boyfriend, she has a chance to show off and do some good at the same time! Meanwhile, Leon stews in his defeat and imprisonment... If only he had some chance, if only he was offered some sliver of power... Then the Survivors would not have seen the last of him yet!
