DEATH MAGE SC NOVEL (2025)

After Hiroto Amamiya dies on a school trip, the god of reincarnation, Rodocolte, sends the unfortunate student into a second life. There he obtains death attribute magic, but after more than a decade of torment, his second life also ends in tragedy, after which Rodocolte reincarnates Hiroto once more for a third life-again without any special powers. Adamantly swearing that there definitely won't be a fourth time around, Hiroto uses his vast reserves of magical power and the special death attribute magic from his previous life to live as a dhampir called Vandal.

Vandal has become the hero of the Ghoul Grotto after using his vast magical power and death magic to defeat the Kobolt King. He remains with the ghouls, learning non-attribute magic from Zadilis, and spending some peaceful time with his allies while helping with such issues as the mage's old age and declining birth rates in the community. However, there is a growing threat from an orc army led by the noble Orc Bugogan, who is intent on wiping out the ghouls-or worse!

The dhampir Vandal has defeated the Kobolt King Gyahn and the Noble Orc Bugogan, saved Zadilis and the other ghouls in the grotto, become a Ghoul King, and made plenty of new allies along the way. Vandal wants to keep the ghouls safe and is not yet ready to face the human threats that still pursue him. So he decides to lead his allies to fresh pastures in order to first consolidate their fighting strength. Along the way, the party faces encounters with unknown monsters and many of the ghouls give birth. They finally overcome these challenges to arrive at the ruined demon barren of Talosheim-where a welcome that none of them could have expected awaits!

The fight with the vampires draws near! Having settled in Talosheim, Vandal has added the mighty Sword King Borks to his companions and is successfully leveling everyone up. But, unbeknownst to them all, the evil claws of the vampire Sercrent are closing in!

As Vandal and his allies were working to take back Talosheim from the demon barren, vampires with orders to assassinate Vandal appeared in the city. But Vandal acquired the skill Soul Crusher and was able to successfully avenge his own father, Varen, by killing the noble species vampire Sercrent. He subsequently ventured beneath Talosheim Castle and also crushed the soul of the Frozen Spear Ice Age. However, while all that was going on, an expedition army from the Milg Shield Kingdom-including High Priest Goldan, one of those who killed Vandal's mother-was preparing to invade Talosheim.

After becoming King of Talosheim, Vandal successfully defeated the invasion of his city by an Imperial expedition army. The force was led by Goldan and Raily, two of those who killed Vandal's mother Dalshia. In the end, Vandal used his Soul Crusher to destroy their souls.  In the aftermath, as his allies work to further improve the nation of Talosheim, Vandal plans a trip to the domain of Duke Heartner in order to register as an adventurer and get his original life plan-to become a noble-back on track. However, one of Vandal's fellow classmates who was reborn onto Origin, where Vandal spent his second life, is reaching the end of his time there...
