Momo Ayase strikes up an unusual friendship with her school's UFO fanatic, whom she nicknames "Okarun" because he has a name that is not to be said aloud. While Momo strongly believes in spirits, she thinks aliens are nothing but nonsense. Her new friend, however, thinks quite the opposite. To settle matters, the two set out to prove each other wrong-Momo to a UFO hotspot and Okarun to a haunted tunnel! What unfolds next is a beautiful story of young love...and oddly horny aliens and spirits? For mature audiences.

Okarun, a high school boy obsessed with supernatural phenomena, is cursed by Turbo Granny! Along with his classmate Momo Ayase, he challenges Turbo Granny to a game of tag as a means to lift the curse. If the two can stay out of her reach until the finish line, they'll win. But Turbo Granny's assassin, a bound spirit in the form of a giant crab, has other plans! For mature audiences.

Okarun and Momo search for his precious family jewels, which he lost during his battle with Turbo Granny. Unfortunately, their classmate Aira has already found one, and it's awakened spiritual powers within her. Around this same time, a strange woman in a red dress appears at their school and attacks them! Who is she, and what's with her obsession with Aira? For mature audiences.

The banana-stealing Serpoians are back! And they've trapped Okarun, Momo, and Aira in a void to have another go at stealing their reproductive organs. The subsequent battle causes the powers of the Acrobatic Silky dwelling within Aira to awaken, and she temporarily joins forces with Momo and Okarun. But will they be any match for their opponents after the aliens merge with their minions to form an even greater being?! For mature audiences.

Okarun and the gang are off to a hot springs town to investigate the mystery of Jiji's family. But when they get there, a strange family in cahoots with the police starts causing trouble for them, and before Okarun and the others can get to the bottom of the mystery, Momo ends up as an offering to the local god!

The Kito clan tosses Okarun and the gang into an alternate-reality version of Jiji's family home as an offering to the serpent god! There they encounter another of the clan's sacrifices, a child who goes on to possess the softhearted Jiji. The two of them become the Evil Eye, who then attacks Okarun and Momo. Okarun decides to take him on alone and sends Momo back aboveground to get help. There she comes up with an ingenious plan to get rid of the giant serpent god...but can she pull it off on her own in time to safe Jiji?

Okarun and the others emerge victorious in their fight against the serpent god, but one lingering threat remains-the Evil Eye's possession of Jiji. Even Grandma Seiko's exorcism is of no use. To complicate matters further, whenever Jiji comes into contact with cold water, the Evil Eye regains control and attacks! Out of options, the group decides their best course of action is to watch over Jiji together until a proper exorcism can be performed-whenever that may be!

Having looked on helplessly as Momo fought the Evil , Okarun resolves to become stronger. To help with his training, Turbo Granny takes him, with Aira in tow, to the school's music room, where they're attacked by the portraits of composers hanging on the walls! But with some tips from Turbo Granny, Okarun is able to beat them, and he decides then and there to take on the Evil Eye!

A seemingly unbeatable kaiju is on the attack! Okarun hits on the idea of revisualizing the nanoskin that repaired Momo's house into a form they can use to counterattack, but he lacks the visual abilities needed, so it's Kinta Sakata-aka Erosuke-to the rescue! The nerd uses his vast knowledge of sci-fi to transform Momo's house into...a giant Buddha robot?! For mature audiences.

To avoid being late for school on Vamola's first day, Momo takes the mysterious kaiju girl on a shortcut through some off-limits ruins. But the protection spell they perform doesn't work, and she runs into the slit-mouthed woman who resides there! The two narrowly escape, and it's only later that Momo realizes the real danger they were in. So why is it that for Momo's own safety, Seiko is now forbidding her from leaving her room after 10 p.m. for the next week?!

Momo struggles to counter a sudden attack by alien clones, but through a temporary truce with her sworn enemy, the alien Serpo, she is able to persevere. However, her troubles are far from over-it's now after 10 p.m.! In order to avoid the slit-mouthed woman Reiko Kashima, who is still very much on the hunt for her, Momo and Serpo must hide out overnight in a manga cafe. And when Momo finally returns home in the morning, she finds her friends are gravely injured and being treated by none other than Mr. Shrimp!

A gravely injured Okarun wakes up to an out-of-body experience! And when he answers Momo's phone, he's sucked through the telephone wires to where Seiko and Turbo Granny are in the middle of a battle. Thankfully, Turbo Granny is able to teach Okarun a technique for returning to his body that will also help in the impending alien invasion. Elsewhere, Momo and the others are undergoing their own training, but when they return home on the predicted date of the invasion, they find it's already begun!

It is revealed that Vamola, the girl found inside the kaiju suit, is actually a member of the once thriving Sumerian race from deep space! Unfortunately, her home world was attacked by the aliens presently targeting Earth, leaving her people scattered. She herself had been forced to plot her escape from the planet with a group of other women-including Banga, who found her as a child and raised her. Now, having learned of Vamola's past, Momo and the others rise to action, but the aliens they face are a formidable enemy.

A nerd must fight powerful spirits and aliens all vying for the secret power of his 'family jewel,' so who better to fight alongside him than his high school crush and a spirit granny?! Momo Ayase and Okarun are on opposite sides of the paranormal spectrum regarding what they'll believe in and what they won't. Their quest to prove each other wrong leads them down a path of secret crushes and paranormal battles they'll have to participate in to believe! As Momo and the others fight desperately against the alien invaders, a recovering Okarun finally comes to and is able to join them. Unfortunately for him, it's Tuesday, and that means one thing-the Evil Eye wants to fight! Thankfully, the Evil Eye's focus is quickly diverted to the invaders when they get in the way of his match, and with his help, the team begins to crush the enemy. But suddenly, Vamola's suit is snatched by an octopus-shaped invader, placing the team in dire straits!

With exams over, summer vacation is finally in full swing! Taiki and Chinatsu go on a secret date at the fireworks festival, but their romantic time together is cut short when they run into other Eimei students. Can they keep hiding their relationship from their friends and classmates? For mature audiences.
