Pieta, a normal girl, leads a normal, uneventful life in a world of constant black rain. As the rain pours down, like it always does, she takes her usual route to school and has a pleasant conversation with her friend Danae. This is what every day is like for Pieta, and she takes a sort of everyday satisfaction from her totally normal life. But then her typical, pleasant conversation with Danae...doesn't happen. "Why...?! Why can I remember...yesterday's today?!!"

In a world of black, endless rain, the balance of fortune allows Pieta and Danae to lead ordinary, uneventful lives...for the most part. But amidst the repetition of the exact same daily routine, Pieta somehow manages to make a new friend in Chiaro-only to lose her to the Light of Syzygy! Can Pieta and Danae find their way to an actual tomorrow while protecting Chiaro from her own everyday struggles...?!

After facing her other self, Pieta has finally made it to a real tomorrow! And so, as she walks through the endless rain, her steps bounce and her heart soars. But in the shadows, strangeness creeps. "It's the witch's doing." With flames fueled by jealousy, she burns everything-people, things, even happiness. Can Pieta and Nike take on this new threat?

Pieta has sworn to put an end to the mysterious chain of sorrow which afflicts her and her friends, even if it means destroying the source of her powers. That puts her face to face with a girl named Stephanie and a group, called Full Moon, which seeks to oppose all such abilities. Can the girls trust their new acquaintance? Nike's exclamation hangs in the air: "Her eyes are just like ours!"

A shadow strikes, and Pieta plunges into the darkness of despair! Will she manage to recover her memories? Or is her life as good as lost, and her newest and closest friends forfeit!?

The house of shadows shines light upon the truth of the world. Stephanie draws nearer to the center of the social service system. And Pieta follows, not far behind. Two outlooks, unalike as yin and yang, must be reconciled as our tale reaches its end... 'We must take joy from them who have it, girl.' To our Pieta, refusing that's a habit. To be happy, look! Just look, all around! Beauty fills this world, with its halo crowned!
