CISSY (2023)

Gabriel is frantically woken from sleep... by his younger sister Maddy's Teddy Bear Cissy! Maddy has been kidnapped on Cissy's watch! He'll stop at nothing to get her back. He needs Gabriel to open the door to the mythical realm of the Dark Lands. Together they will traverse the horrors of the Dark Lands in pursuit of her captor, an evil called The Crying Man.

Gabriel and Cissy are in the Dark Lands-a once beautiful place that has now been reduced to a hellscape ravaged by a disease called The Lament. While Cissy starts to teach Gabriel how to navigate the horrors of the Dark Lands, he realizes the key to their success in finding Maddy will be to reassemble his old military unit. First up is Brambles who was left stationed in the Forest From The Trees.

Oversized Issue! Fans of The Chronicles of Narnia and Stuff of Legend will love this new series! In this issue, Gabriel, Cissy, and Brambles journey deeper into the Dark Lands. A strange event in the Forest involving the trees leads them to believe they are closing the gap on The Crying Man. Here, in one of the most dangerous places of all the realms, we meet the Crying Man and gain insight into his grand plan.

Oversized Issue! Eleven-year-old Gabriel and his living (!) Teddy Bear guides and allies-Brambles and Cissy-have landed in the swamps of the Dark Lands. Regrettably, the companions are in unchartered territory as neither bear has ever been in this region before. They quickly learn that these bogs are filled with dangerous fantastical creatures and a trap left by the Crying Man. Against all odds, the mission to track down and save Maddy must proceed!

Teddy Bear guides and allies-Brambles and Cissy- have just survived a trap set by The Crying Man with the help of a new friend-a mystical, spectral creature named Twizzle. With Twizzle as a guide, the party continues their pursuit of the kidnapped Maddy. Meanwhile, Ray and Antonio find a mysterious island atop the frozen Orion Sea. The island has gifts for them... but at what cost?

Another oversized issue! The Dark Lands have devolved and produced a bevy of new horrors. One of these horrors has its eyes on Gabriel-a memory vampire called The Newspaper Man who wants to feed! To stop him from killing Gabriel, our heroes-Cissy, Brambles, and Twizzle-will have to work together against the evils that wait for them on the island of Banyans.
