Hana agreed to marry Saku, the head of her family's main branch, when he discovered her hidden powers-but only temporarily, and for plenty of compensation. When the time comes, however, Saku is reluctant to dissolve their union, and Hana's not sure if her protests are sincere anymore. Meanwhile, several dangerous talismans go missing. Who could have taken them, and why?

Hana's had her hands full. She's keeping her husband's advances at bay, sent a terrorist organization packing, saved the school from destruction, and rescued her twin sister from the clutches of their terrible parents! At this point, flying under the radar is simply impossible. News about her has spread far and wide, finally reaching the ears of an Obsidian rank practitioner named Yukizasa Sankourou. He's an old friend of Saku's and is vehemently opposed to his buddy's marriage to Hana. He won't stop at just voicing his opinions either, he's willing to meddle and he's not above teaming up with the Ichise parents in their continued efforts to get Hana out of the picture.

Thanks to Saku's scheming, Hana and Hazuki's toxic parents are finally out of the picture. Plus, now the twin sisters can reconcile with their older brother, Yanagi. With such peaceful days, Hana becomes more aware of her feelings toward Saku, but there is still an awkward distance between them. A distraction arrives in the form of a collaborative school festival. All of the Obsidian High School campuses send a representative to compete against their fellow practitioners in some 'friendly' competition. Their biggest rival is Campus Four, which claimed victory for the last several years. This event brings the Yotsukado clan's successor to the scene, and she obviously has it out for Hana.
