BATTLE ACTION (2023)

Battle Action returns with an all-new mini-series of war stories. This first issue sees the return of Johnny Red and his Falcon Squadron hunting down German raiders, written by Garth Ennis with art by Keith Burns. Also included is a newly-penned HMS Nightshade story by John Wagner, a tale focusing on the bonds of friendship forged during naval battles, drawn by Dan Cornwell. Future issues will feature stories by Torunn Gr nbekk, Chris Burnham, Rob Williams, Dan Abnett, and more.

The new series of Battle Action continues with the return of Crazy Keller from Garth Ennis and Chris Burnham, as Keller finds himself in the aftermath of WWII dealing with the legacy of the Nazis and their indoctrinated soldiers. Also in this issue, Dan Abnett and Phil Winslade tell the story of D-Day Dawson, the soldier whose mortal wound spurs him on to heroic deeds, as he stands against overwhelming odds to defend innocent French civilians from encroaching German forces.

Battle Action returns with an all-new, five-issue mini-series of thrilling tales! Garth Ennis and John Higgins take a break from war stories to bring you a brutal tale set in 1981, featuring Dredger tracking down kidnappers and delivering justice in his own unique way. And Major Eazy makes a comeback in a brand-new story written by Rob Williams, as Eazy must ensure that his soldiers survive the Battle of El Alamein, drawn by Henry Flint.

The penultimate issue contains two all-new tales of ordinary soldiers performing heroic acts of bravery under extreme conditions! On the bloody battlefield of Anzio, Italy, a raw 18-year-old soldier, Jim Miller, must devote every waking moment to ensure that Cooley's Gun keeps firing in order to stave off the relentless Nazi assault, written by Garth Ennis and Staz Johnson. On the Eastern Front the Death Squad are sent on a do-or-die mission to go behind Russian lines in order to rescue a Field Marshal's son and are faced with a difficult decision when they find him, written by Rob Williams and drawn by PJ Holden.
