ANCIENT ENEMIES (2022)

Earth becomes the final battlefield for a centuries old war between two alien races.  But this final conflict becomes the unintentional breeding ground for a new generation of super powers, each with the ability to influence the outcome of the war.  Some super powers choose sides, while others struggle to maintain their independence with the hope of saving the Earth.  This series explodes with new characters and creations, written by former DC Publisher Dan DiDio, with design and art by the industry's newest rising star, Danio Beyruth.  As first issues, go, this one is not to be missed!

Tensions rise between the two cities, Citadel and Americana, as the recent destruction caused by the alien invaders forces The Wraith to relive painful memories of the past and her first encounter with the creature known as, The Geek! The Djinni and Big Sister share a quiet meal, and Morrigan Bonny faces off against POTUS and Racer Girl as the New Mississippi River border is threatened by the alien menace, Mimic, a creature born from the Zolan ship!

Tensions between Citadel and Americana build as Americana sends its unwanted immigrants to its neighboring city, driving an even larger wedge between The Wraith and her son.  Meanwhile, The First Responder is forced to relive the moment of his death at The Crash Memorial, courtesy of  Morrigan Bonny.  And a Racer Girl is shot dead in the streets.  Is it a case of mistaken identity or something far more sinister?  Things are heating up in this fabulous fourth issue. In this penultimate issue, The Djinni's ship is revealed as the Greater Good release an army of alien warriors hellbent on conquering Earth.  Meanwhile the cities of Americana and Citadel begin choosing sides in preparation for the final battle between Djinni and First Responder.
