Like the missing piece of a puzzle that has been found, the mathematical breakthrough of XIANITICS has provided all of mankind with the gift of faster-than-light space travel. Scientific discoveries of this magnitude always have reactions and thus, consequences. Transhumanism-the evolutionary leap when the human race transcends beyond its current physical and mental limitations through science and technology. What makes a human a human? Where one person may look to their own consciousness or soul as the essence of who they are, another person will look to their outward physical appearance, cognitive abilities, cultural traits, or resiliency as their true self identity. The Star Riders will be forced to individually examine their own inherent core self, their place in the universe, and the ultimate meaning of their existence.
