There's something lurking in Glenfield Middle School. For hundreds of years, it's hidden in the shadows. The school is going to need a hero. Sixth-grader Pablo Ortiz... isn't that guy. What kind of hero is afraid of ghost stories, bullies, and dancing at their sister's quinceañera? All he wants to do is lie low and get through middle school in one piece. But when he accidentally opens the portal to the monster realm and summons a vengeful Aztec goddess to the hallways of Glenfield Middle, lying low isn't an option.
