"Lords of the Cosmos: Taste the Dirt" (Dennis Fallon, Jason Palmatier, Zach Snyder, Dave Sharpe): 200,000 years ago, a war waged by sentient plants ravaged Planet Alden, until a new threat killed off all them save one: Orchamemnon.
