1879. After decades of violence, of fleeing, of having gone everywhere from Floridato Mexico, a war-weary band of Seminole Blacks led by their sheriff, Desi Leans, and his wise-cracking deputy, Gay Day, have finallysettled in the Oklahoma Territory.
