With over 35 million units in sales, the Mega Man series is a beloved video game franchise with fans of all generations throughout the world. Incredibly popular for their fast-paced action and deep storytelling, the games inspired a variety of spinoff games and media, including the Mega Man X series that became a core brand within the franchise. From Mega Man X6, the antagonist of the Nightmare Phenomena, fake Zero Zero Nightmare Version joins Kotobukiya's plastic model lineup. Contrasting the original color of Zero, the overall color scheme of Zero Nightmare Version is changed to purple based on the character's appearance in the game. The new Nightmare Version of Zero's signature hair differs from the original with more movement incorporated in the sculpt.
